Emtias Ibrahim  | Administrative & Financial Coordinator

Emtias holds a BA degree in Psychology from the University of Jordan (2006). After acquiring some experience as an Administrative Assistant at Dar Al-Isra’s Library, Emtias joined Mahara .

Emtias’s administrative responsibilities include managing the day-to-day logistical affairs of the office and handling the firm’s accounting. Furthermore, Emtias works closely on various projects as a project assistant in project implementation in the preliminary desk research phase and field data collection.

Noora El Wer  | Project Coordinator

Noora holds a BSc degree in Psychology from Brigham Young University, Utah (2006), with an emphasis on social psychology. Her training in social scientific research and involvement in numerous research projects doing both qualitative and quantitative primary and secondary research and statistical analysis have shaped her background.

As part of Mahara team, she is a project coordinator closely involved in field and desk research as well as data analysis and reporting. Furthermore, Noora is involved in a number of youth-led initiatives that vary from advocacy, wellbeing and promoting leadership among young people.

Rania Rimawi  | Project Coordinator

Rania holds a BA degree in Economics from the University of Jordan (2006). She was first contracted as a researcher with Mahara and worked on two projects, after which she became an assistant in Samar Haj Hasan’s campaign for parliamentary elections in 2007.

Rania joined Mahara as a fulltime employee as a project assistant involved in various assignments with a focus on the preliminary desk research and field data collection, and doing both qualitative and quantitative primary and secondary research.

Mais Salameh  | Project Coordinator

Mais holds a BA degree in Sociology and Social Work from The University of Jordan (2009). She is specifically interested in the Development sector, as creating a valuable contribution is her passion and helping make a meaningful change in society inspires her.

As part of the team at Mahara, Mais is a project coordinator involved in planning and executing projects. She is in charge of developing, coordinating and implementing all tasks that relate to a specific project. Her tasks also include working with internal and external parties in organizing the various components needed to initiate, run, report and conclude projects, project follow up with clients and the coordination between all the stake-holders involved to assure project completion.

Salima Abu Zayed  | Secretary

Salima holds a Diploma in Management Information Systems from Zarqa Private College (2009). She has always been keen on working in an environment that provides her the best experience where she can learn and develop herself and therefore, she joined Mahara in January 2010.

As part of Mahara team, Salima is responsible for providing secretarial, administrative support, involved with the co-ordination and implementation of office procedures. She is also responsible for maintaining and updating Mahara website and internal databases.
